The World of Imago is an attempt to create a unique community that surrounds a deep and enthralling world full of stories and characters. They are intertwined and interdependent upon each other, without one the other cannot exist. You the user are our most important focus, an asset beyond measure for without you we would not be able to create the world in which you will play in. We depend upon your creativity to give the breath of life to the characters and the stories we will tell.

You will be the ones that help maintain the unique community, our goal is to bring the user into the creation process of the story to the extreme. If you will look to other role-playing websites you will find that the user has very limited control on what is going within the stories they are part of. They will not have the say in any of the telling, they have the alone responsibility to only change the how, not the what.

At Imago we plan to change that, our stories will like the typical role-play begin with a goal, a plot that will at the beginning be followed, but may be deterred from if necessary by the user. To clarify and explain more easily; this does not mean that the story will be forgotten as the players get off topic and go towards an entirely different goal, but instead allows creative control of the characters to their fullest degree by the user themselves because our role-plays may be molded and shaped to fit the people within them to better the story, instead of the people molded and shaped to the story.

Our common goal is to remove the barrier that is in place in most role-playing communities where the staff, or host of the story has direct control upon the entire fiction and the users themselves are nothing but secondary, add on characters upon their story. We feel that direct creative control should be in the hands of everyone and anyone within the story itself.

We are attempting to do something creative, different and in our eyes unique. A community where there is true democracy, a true combined effort by all to better everyone and everything within it. But as we have said before, there cannot be anything without the user and their cooperation to creative something wonderful, something special for all to view and enjoy.
